CKRD Memorial Nursing College has one of the best Anatomy and Physiology labs in the region, equipped with a complete range of models, charts, written text, and high-quality illustrations to provide students a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. The lab is interactive and offers hands-on activities that enhance the student's ability to visualize anatomical structures and understand physiological topics. Lab exercises are designed to encourage group learning and promote critical evaluation.
Nursing Foundation, Adult Health & Advance Nursing Lab
The Nursing Foundation lab is equipped with patient simulators and other advanced equipment that helps students practice nursing procedures before working in clinical settings. It provides simulation education that challenges students' clinical decision-making skills during realistic patient care scenarios.
Anatomy & Physiology Lab
The lab offers models, charts, and hands-on exercises to help students better understand anatomy and physiology. It provides an engaging and interactive learning environment for group activities.
Community Health Nursing Lab & Nutrition Lab
Students use this lab to practice community health nursing techniques and health education preparation. The nutrition lab focuses on the relationship between diet and disease prevention, teaching students how to prepare therapeutic diets under the guidance of a qualified dietitian.
OBG Lab
CKRD Memorial Nursing College Provides excellent laboratory facilities for basic learning within Maternal and Child Health Sciences Comprising latest articles and equipments. This laboratory is where student learn the basic skills of maternity and child health nursing prior to exposure to the clinical area. The lab contains various obstetrical charts related to antenatal, intranasal and postnatal care, including models to practice the conduct of labour . It also includes baby mannequins to practice nursing procedures, growth charts, and immunization schedules and play materials for different age group. The aim of the MCH lab is to achieve excellence in basic and applied teaching relating to child health and obstetrics & gynecology.
Child Health Nursing Lab
The Child Health Nursing Lab is equipped with modern facilities to provide hands-on learning experiences. Students can practice essential skills required for pediatric care.
Pediatric Nursing laboratory is designed to help the students to develop an understanding of the modern approach to the child care. This lab provides strong foundations for handling the newborns and children with the help of manikins. This lab is equipped with the Pediatric CPR manikins, Pediatric Procedure manikin with all orifices, Baby dolls infantometer, Weighing machine, Oxygen nood, Pediatric stethoscope &BP Apparatus with Pediatric Cuff, lot of play materials, various models and adequate articles and equipments to demonstrate the procedures to the students it helps to develop skill in carrying out and assisting various pediatric procedures in clinical settings and community settings.
Library
CKRD Memorial Nursing College has a well-stocked fully computerized library which provides up-to-date reference and course books for B.Sc.(N), Post B.Sc.(N). The library subscribes to a large number of journals, periodicals, newspapers, and magazines. A study room is attached for in-depth study. A collection of video tapes, CDs, and audio cassettes make the library unique.
AV AIDS
CKRD Memorial Nursing College provides an Audio Visual Aid Room for students to create their own aids. The lab is equipped with projectors, video equipment, and other devices to aid presentations and demonstrations, ensuring that all students have a clear view from any seating position.
Main Building
CKRD Memorial Nursing College is housed in a beautifully designed building. All classrooms and lecture halls are well-furnished and fully equipped, providing a conducive environment for learning as per I.N.C. norms. Separate rooms for lectures and seminars for B.Sc.(N) and P.B.B.Sc.(N) courses are available.
